About Us

 Jane has been involved in the insurance industry approximately 19 years. Initially, employed at the Mayo Clinic Business Office as a Patient’s Representative, she was involved with insurance claims, benefits, and processing issues, as well as helping clients with sourcing financial assistance.   In 2015, Jane received her insurance agent’s license and started her own agency under the umbrella of Wisota Insurance Group.  Since then, she has worked across the broad spectrum of the health insurance business, with extensive work with Medicare clients, and is a certified MNsure Assister.   

Today, Jane ownes and manages Wisota Insurance Agency, LLC, and services clients in the state of Minnesota in every stage of life.  Being an Independent Broker allows Jane the flexibility to offer a variety of plan options from a number of providers.   Jane sits down with you one-on-one and goes over all options making sure you get the best plan available for your needs.  Going beyond helping you compare and select your plan, Jane is committed to service even after your enrollment.  From questions on policy coverage, overseeing plan renewals, and providing claims assistance, Jane can act as your insurance ally and is with you every step of the way.  Jane understands the importance of personalized attention, especially when it comes to helping everyday people navigate the ever-changing health insurance industry.  As an educated advisor, Jane enjoys providing guidance to Minnesotans, helping empower them to make well-educated decisions about their health coverage.  A wife, mother of three, and grandmother, Jane understands the various factors that influence health insurance decisions and draws upon all of her roles to better serve you.
